Class will focus on developing short-form video content. Starting from the script stage, the student will present an idea to the class and teacher. Class will logistically discuss each student's project and create a production schedule for it. Student will then enter the shooting phase of their project. This will be limited to 1 - 2 days of shooting. Finally, the class will end the term editing and delivering their final product. Project can be narrative, experimental, journalistic, commercial, etc. No restrictions. Students interested in marketing, film or journalism are all encouraged to sign up. Class will be creative but the primary goal is to develop logistical tools of scripting and scheduling to create your video. If you are currently working on a project, working in a group or have a great unproduced idea, this is the class for you. All productions will be limited to short form (2 - 8 minutes) in order to keep the project manageable. Some equipment will be available but students with their own gear are encouraged to use it for their shoot.
