In collaboration with Wood Brothers Music. Music is meant to be shared. Playing music as part of a group is exhilarating. Even if you're not more than a beginner, playing in a group can help you improve - usually more quickly than with private lessons. Here's your chance to play in a group setting every month. David Hodge, instructor of BCC's many wonderful music workshops, is creating a program to encourage people to play in groups. We'll pick a song that everyone knows and explore the ways to play it in an ensemble-style. Charts will be provided. If you're a guitarist, ukulele, banjo, or other fretted instrument player, all you have to know are the basic chords. You'll learn about transposing, finding chords all over your instrument's fretboard and how to play complementary parts. Come join in the fun at Wood Brothers on the 4th Saturday of every month. Each session is only $40.
