Shiatsu is a style of bodywork from Japan, performed on cushioned mats, easy on the joints for both giver and receiver. Most of us intuitively reach for the point that relieves pain when we are hurting. Learn specific self-care points to support healthy living and learn how to treat others, without depleting yourself or causing injury. You can come alone and work with someone else in this safe learning environment, or come with your partner. What better way to take care of yourself than bodywork to relax, de-stress, and liberate life energy within. You will take home a shiatsu form touching on the back, front, and side body. Beyond the form, you'll take home sensitivity training, tools for non-verbal listening, a way to cultivate your energy and a wonderful new way to connect with the power of your hands.
