Program Overview
Collaboration with Berkshire Community College and Berkshire Botanical Garden
The Horticulture Certificate Program is a non-credit adult enrichment program designed to benefit you: the professional, aspiring professional, homeowner and serious home gardener. Designed with a flexible approach to learning, several options are available to participants: 
* Enroll in a single course of interest 
* Build a series of courses to meet individual needs 
* Earn a Certificate of Horticulture Level I, and a Certificate in Garden Design Level II 
* Continue studies with Advanced Certificates in Horticulture or Design 
* Specialize with a Certificate in Sustainable Horticulture and Native Plant Garden Design 
* Complete each certificate in two semesters over several years. 

Learning Approach 
This program applies practical knowledge to the study of horticulture and design. Instructors are professionals working in the field who bring a hands-on, field study approach to the classroom. Theoretical information is reinforced with work experience, making course work relevant to real-life experience. Classroom work is supplemented with a hands-on practicum component. All classes take place at Berkshire Botanical Garden located in Stockbridge, MA.
