The merging of somatic movements, yoga postures, breath techniques, fitness, movement and fun in the water! Antoinette Simms has been in the health, wellness and fitness industries for 25 years. Her interest for fitness was sparked during her tour in the United States Navy. Once her enlistment was completed, her deep love for fitness began. Antoinette trained in Yogatherapy, competed in bodybuilding, and has been a personal trainer - with rap sensation 50 being one of her clients. Here in the Berkshires Antoinette has studied many forms of yoga, meditation and breathwork at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She worked at Canyon Ranch Spa for 8 years instructing innovative fitness, yoga, aquatics, dance classes and lecturing. One goal she has is to stay present with each student - to work with them in gaining body/mind awareness wherever change needs to happen. She encourages people to be true to themselves, feel comfortable in their own skin, and good about starting wherever they are.
