In collaboration with Berkshire AHEC, this workshop will be an informational session with regards to how the attitudes and behaviors of people from one culture are modified as a result of contact with a different/host culture. We will discuss how you can apply the role of the interpreter and their functions.  Course overview:  Intro to Cultural Competence, Understanding Social Identity, Cultural Influences on our Behavior, Incorporating Cultural Understanding into our work and Wraparound as an example.
