Grains offer a fantastic way to introduce unique flavors, adding depth and interest to familiar baked goods. Beyond their taste, they bring nutritional benefits and support sustainable agriculture. We're fortunate to be surrounded by dedicated grain growers, making it easier to access these ingredients and celebrate local farming through baking. In this session, we’ll explore both popular and lesser-known alternative grains — such as Rye, Spelt, Einkorn, Kamut, and Buckwheat — many of which can be found in local stores.
