This is a ninety (90) hour state approved nursing program.Classes are held Monday through Friday and run for four (4) weeks. Three examinations are given during the course. An average of 70% is acceptable for passing. There will be two final grades, one for the nursing assistant content which is a combined grade of both the mid-term and final exam and one for the home health aide content final exam. Quizzes will also be administered throughout the course to assist in determining student progress, however, these do not factor into the final grade. Assessment of clinical skills is on a Pass/Fail basis. All classes will be held at BCC's Main Campus, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield. Clinical will be completed at various Berkshire Health Systems Long Term Care Facilities. If you are interested in enrolling into this course, please call (413)395-7545.
